President's Welcome message

Brian Grimson - President 2014/2015

Welcome From the President

It is with enormous pride and pleasure, as president of this great club that I welcome all our members, friends, guests and visiting teams to what we hope will be another successful year for St. Mary’s College RFC. Under Steven Hennessy the club had a huge level of success with league and cup wins for a number of our junior teams. That continued success brings with it a new set of challenges with our J-2 and J-3 teams moving up to play at a higher level. I wish all of our teams from the senior, junior, women’s, under 20s, youths and mini a successful year playing the Mary’s open skilful brand of rugby.

I wish all of our captains, coaches and managers together with their teams an enjoyable and successful season. I would especially like to wish our club captain Kevin Sheahan, coaches Peter Smyth, Jonathan Garth and Philip Brophy, manager Paudge McGill and assistant managers Garry Manning and Peter O’Kelly a successful season in the AIL Division One.
