Irish Rugby’s main sponsor O2 have come up with an initiative called O2 Engage which gives members and supporters of St Marys College RFC  the opportunity to raise funds for the club through their O2 monthly bill.

It’s a simple concept and requires no effort from anyone wishing to participate except for a free text to set up the account. O2's Engage lets you give 5% of you O2 monthly bill directly to St Marys College RFC , and since O2 makes the contribution, it won’t cost you a cent extra. All it takes is one simple text message. O2 Engage is a trial scheme, and St Marys College RFC  is one of 12 rugby clubs nationwide invited to participate.

How to Join.

To join O2 Engage and help St Marys, simply free text 'RUGBY' to 50308.Following the receipt of this message, you will then be asked to reply 'RUGBY St Marys College RFC'. It’s as simple as that.

This trial is open to Private and Business Customers.

O2 Business Customers

• Existing SME Customers
  • can add the O2 Engage trial to a maximum of 15 existing connections
• New SME Customers
  • can add the O2 Engage Trial to a maximum of 25 connections.
• Existing Corporate Customers
  • can add the O2 Engage trial to a maximum of 35 accounts

O2 Private Customers

• In order to be eligible for O2 Engage you must be an O2 Ireland pay monthly customer on an O2 Active or O2 Clear price plan only.

Those customers with an iphone, Easylife or any legacy pay monthly price plans are excluded from joining O2 Engage. New customers who wish to join O2 in order to avail of the O2 Engage trial offer should ;

• Visit www.o2.ie/shop;
• send a free text with the keyword ‘rugby’ into 50308;
• call into any O2 store for details.

The O2 Engage trial will be activated within 5 working days of your registration. O2 Engage trial membership is open to eligible pay monthly customers on either a single user or multiple user account. Where an eligible customer on a multiple user account joins the O2 Engage trial it will be applied to all numbers on that account. In all circumstances it is the responsibility of the user to obtain the consent of the account holders.

Terms and Conditions

O2 Engage is open to O2 Ireland pay monthly customers on an O2 Active or O2 Clear price plan or O2 Ireland Business customers who sign up by 31st August 2008 only. O2 Engage membership entitles you to nominate one of the following IRFU affiliated Clubs only: Buccaneers RFC, Galwegians RFC, Shannon RFC, Dolphin RFC, Kilfeacle RFC, Waterford RFC, Bective Rangers RFC, Old Belvedere RFC, St. Marys College RFC, Longford RFC, Kilkenny RFC, Ashbourne RFC. Your nominated Club will receive a contribution from O2 equivalent to 5% of your standard monthly charge (exc of VAT), plus 5% of any additional voice and text spend and excludes data, premium services & international roaming.
